Report: Upon a complete installation, the Fluxbeam LED Conversion Kit works perfectly when the vehicle is off; however, upon ignition the Fluxbeam LED Conversion Kit either does not light up or it flashes then turns off.
Reason: Ultimately, the issues can be attributed to the vehicle's TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) CPU. While the Fluxbeam LED Conversion Kit is Canbus certified the certification does not cover TIPM equipped vehicles. Such vehicles include 07+ Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, and Jeep. Solution:
Solution: Quite simply, through testing and confirmed feedback adding a pair of 50w 6ohm Plug & Play H13 resistors will fix the issue and restore operation. If your purchase did not include TIPM resistors, you can purchase them here: http://www.opt-7.com/tipm-resistor/
With TIPM Resistors installed the Flux-capacitors should be removed from the wire chain on each side. The TIPM Resistors should be installed between the OPT7 Fluxbeam LED Conversion Kits Plug & Play connection and the vehicle connection. CAUTION: RESISTORS GET VERY HOT | INSTALL THEM AWAY FROM ANYTHING THAT IS FLAMMABLE OR THAT COULD MELT | PREFERABLY A FLAT METAL SURFACE | DO NOT HANDLE AFTER USE UNTIL SUFFICIENT COOLING TIME HAS PASSED |
