Are OPT7 HID Conversion Kit or any HID Kits in general designed to prevent the BOW warning?

OPT7 HID Conversion Kits & HID Conversion Kits in general are not necessarily designed to eliminate the BOW (Bulb Out Warning) that is common when converting the headlights on 07+ model year vehicles. The increased occurrences of the BOW (Bulb Out Warning) is largely due to the advent of more sophisticated vehicle CPUs and the specific checks it runs on the halogen headlights.

When the BOW is activated it simply means the feedback on the resistance levels from the headlights to the CPU is outside acceptable ranges. Enter relays, capacitors and resistors: all are common HID accessories that manipulate resistance levels and in essence attempt to trick the CPU into registering the presumably still present halogen bulbs as operating correctly among other functions.

However, since the parameters of the CPU are unknown and presumably different for all vehicle year, makes and models it can be tough to know which combination of accessories will work; if it works at all.
