There are two ways the AUX WIRE / Door Assist on the Aura Pro Bluetooth control box can connected on the vehicle in order to activate the door assists feature.
1.) To connect the AUX WIRE with any trigger wire in the vehicle which allows a signal to be received when the door is opened. For example, this can be the courtesy light or the door light.
2.) The second option is to connect the AUX WIRE with the positive wire of the dome light (see image below). However, it's important to note it is not recommended for vehicles that the dome light - lights up progressively. Our Aura LED strip will flicker for those types of vehicles. This is why we recommend the "trigger wire" for the door light to be connected as it will light up with the door opening or closing.
