How do I install the Aura Pro App and connect to my Aura Pro kits to my smartphone?


 

1.) Find the OPT7 AURA Pro app in your App Marketplace / App Store (**do not select the AURA Pro V2 / OPT7 Connect)

 

2. Download the Aura Pro app to your Smartphone Device, ensure your Bluetooth is turn ON (see below on see how).

  1. Tap on Settings.
  2. Select “General”
  3. Tap on “Bluetooth
  4. Flip the On/Off button to toggle Bluetooth on or off.
  5. Close out of Settings and you're on your way.

 

3.) Once the Bluetooth setting is ON, next find the Aura Pro App on your smart phone device, the app should look this which means you downloaded the correct application for the Aura Pro LED kit. 

 

 

4.) Click on the Aura Pro app - the screen should look like this - asking permission to connect your product to your device. 

 

5.) Touch "Connect", your Aura Pro LED Kit(s) should show on this screen. If you have multiple kits which as a Aura Pro Control Box as well, it should 2 of 4 and/or etc. 

 

5.) Select the Aura Pro LED Kit(s) you wish to control. Ensure the ON is highlighted while accessing the control capabilities in the Aura Pro app. It's important to note, if you wish to turn the device off, turning off the Bluetooth Setting on your device will not turn the LED's OFF, the LED's will still remain ON.  To turn OFF the LED's, you will need to turn OFF the device in the APP to fully have the LED be off before exit the vehicle and/or of use.

 

* IF - You do not see your Aura Kit Connecting to the Aura App... you may need to check your control box is powered on.

 

*How do I know if my device is connected? 

A slow pulsing blue light can mean the control box are in pairing mode

A constant blinking blue light can indicate a healthy connection, followed by a solid blue light means its connected to a device. 

If the light is a slight green, this is an indicator the control box is faulty, please contact our customer support team to file a warranty replacement claim.
